A Home Away From Home for Senior Citizens
Jestha Nagarik Milan Kendra was created with one belief — our elders deserve a life filled with dignity, connection, and purpose. The vision began with social worker Mr. Khem Raj Pun, who wanted to create a space where senior citizens could come together, stay active, and find joy again.
After years of planning and collective effort, the foundation was laid in 2020 AD (2020). Today, it stands strong with 101 founding members and over 90 lifetime members, and continues to grow — more than a center, it is a community.

The Vision
Social worker Mr. Khem Raj Pun conceives the idea of a dedicated recreation centre for senior citizens in Rupandehi.
Foundation Laid
Jestha Nagarik Milan Kendra is formally established in Tilottama Municipality-4, Rupandehi, with 101 founding members.
Programs Begin
Daily 7-session day-care programs launch, along with meditation, yoga, devotional music, and nutritious meal services.
Health Camps
Monthly health camps begin in partnership with Devdaha Medical College, providing free check-ups to members.
Growing Community
Membership grows to over 130 active members. Weekly cultural and fellowship programs are established every Friday.
Expanding Impact
Continuing to serve 1,000+ elders with free services, herbal medicinal water, and holistic wellness programs.
