Introduction
The Senior Citizens Recreation and Care Center, Rupandehi (SCRCR) is a non-governmental, non-political, and social service organization duly registered with the District Administration Office. Its primary objective is to promote the dignity, health, self-reliance, and spiritual well-being of senior citizens while preserving and transferring their lifelong knowledge, wisdom, and experiences to society and future generations.
Our Philosophy
Our senior citizens are invaluable reservoirs of knowledge, experience, culture, skills, and life wisdom. Recognizing and honoring their contributions, the Center provides a warm and supportive environment through activities such as:
- Meditation and Yoga
- Counseling sessions
- Devotional singing (Bhajan–Kirtan)
- Spiritual discourses
- Knowledge-sharing programs
- Social interaction and recreational activities
We also emphasize:
- Healthy lifestyles
- Mental well-being

Currently:
- 7 distinguished founding members have contributed NPR 500,000
- 94 founding members have contributed NPR 111,111 each
- 90 lifetime members are enrolled
Total Members: 191
The membership expansion campaign is ongoing.
Endowment & Support
To ensure long-term sustainability, an Endowment Fund has been established.
So far, 45 donors have contributed to this fund.
Service Reach
- Total registered senior citizens (beneficiaries): 115
Future Plans
A modern facility is currently under development:
- Area: 3,000 sq. ft.
- Capacity: Approximately 500 senior citizens

To improve accessibility and convenience, the organization requires:
- Transportation facility (vehicle) for senior citizens
