Senior Citizen Recreation Center Rupandehi (SCRCR) successfully organised its Annual Health Camp, bringing together specialist doctors, nurses, and health volunteers to provide free medical consultations and check-ups to all registered members. The camp was held at the center premises in Tilottama-4, Rupandehi, and saw an enthusiastic turnout of over 90 senior citizens.
Services Provided
The health camp offered a comprehensive range of services free of charge to all members:
- General health check-up — blood pressure, blood sugar, and BMI measurements
- Eye examination — vision screening and advice on corrective lenses
- Dental check-up — oral hygiene assessment and consultations
- Physiotherapy consultations — assessment of joint pain, mobility, and posture
- Nutritional counselling — personalised dietary advice for age-related conditions
- Distribution of essential medicines — free medicines provided to members in need

Doctors and Specialists Who Attended
The camp was graced by the presence of several dedicated medical professionals who volunteered their time for this cause. General physicians, an ophthalmologist, a physiotherapist, and a nutritionist were among the specialists present. Chief Patron Dr. Narayan Prasad Pantha provided guidance and oversight for the medical proceedings.
A Day of Care and Community
Beyond medical check-ups, the day was filled with warmth and community spirit. Members shared meals together, participated in light wellness activities, and took part in an awareness session on healthy aging. The event reinforced the center’s belief that good health is not only physical — it is deeply rooted in social connection and emotional well-being.

Looking Ahead
SCRCR plans to continue organising quarterly health check-up camps throughout the year, ensuring our senior members have regular access to quality healthcare at no cost. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the doctors, volunteers, and donors whose generous support made this camp possible.
